Franking credit refund pilot

A group of 200 not-for-profit (NFP) organisations will participate in a franking credit refund pilot that aims to improve the process for lodgement and processing of applications for the 2018–19 financial year.

Participants for this pilot have already been selected and will be notified in mid-June 2019.

Participants in the pilot will automatically receive a refund of any franking credit they are entitled to for the 2018–19 financial year without lodging an application.

Refunds will be paid into the organisation’s bank account, as dividend and franking credit information is reported by share registries.
