The Australian Community Workers Association have created an on line registration system for community workers.
This brings them in line with other professions allowing third party verification such as medical practitioners, social workers and engineers. Registration allows practitioners to include their qualifications and security checks and as a public register, carers, employers and consumers can verify practitioners are genuine and hold the relevant qualifications.
