The International Day of Happiness is celebrated through the world on 20 March. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly and acknowledges that ‘the pursuit of happiness is a fundamental human goal’. It also recognises the need for a more inclusive, equitable and balanced approach to economic growth that promotes sustainable development, poverty eradication, happiness and the well being of all people.
The Day of Happiness campaign is a global celebration that is coordinated by Action for Happiness, a nfp movement of people from over 140 countries and supported by a partnership of like-minded organisations.
