On 23 May 2014, a senate inquiry was held into the proposed repeal act of the ACNC. Thirteen organisations and individuals gave evidence at this enquiry. Seven of the thirteen those supported the repeal of the ACNC Act despite over 80% support from submissions in favour of retaining the ACNC.
