Fifteen years ago the world population surpassed 6 billion, Australian voters said ‘No’ to a republic, books printed on paper were still popular and My Space was introduced to the internet. Popular movies included The Sixth Sense, American Beauty, Notting Hill, and Rikki Martin’s ‘Cup of Life’ was a huge hit on our radios.
Another memorable event of 1999 was the creation of nfpas! Over the last 15 years nfpas has grown from a one-person consulting firm, to a business employing up to 17 people, all who share a passion for the work of the not for profit sector. nfpas is based in Adelaide and provides a broad range of financial services to clients all over Australia, as well as internationally (well we have one token international client!).
