Andrea Petersen BA (Acc), Grad Dip (Acc), MA (Acc), CA

Andrea Petersen is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of professional accounting experience. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy (Graduated with Distinction), a Graduate Diploma in Accountancy and a Master of Accountancy. She worked as a Chartered Accountant for Arthur Young, Ernst & Young and Glenn & Herriot before spending four years lecturing at the University of South Australia. While working for the University she was also a guest lecturer at the University of Westminster in London.

In 1999 she set up Not-For-Profit Accounting Specialists (NFPAS) as a boutique accounting firm serving the needs of not-for-profit organisations with accounting services and business advice and has managed and practiced in it since that time.

Andrea has served on the CPA's Not-For-Profit Committee, which provides accountants working in the community sector with up to date knowledge of issues affecting them, their employees and clients and provides feedback to the government on policy relevant to the community sector. She has been a member of CPA Australia's national Not-for-Profit Symposium Task Force and was invited by CPA Australia in May 2006 to conduct master classes in not-for-profit accounting issues in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
